This qualification reflects the role of individuals to lead a team working in a retail environment to deliver results. To build on existing retail knowledge and skills to provide leadership to staff, prepare reports and retail planning to meet the targets of the business.
This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities. Students have up to 12 months to complete the course.
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who have achieved the SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management or can provide relevant industry employment experience in a job role that has involved the application of skills and knowledge described in the core units of competency from the SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management.
Student will be required to provide their USI and complete a language, literacy and numeracy test.

Training and Assessment Activities
Training and Assessment will take place:
Classroom: Training and assessment takes place in a classroom and involves discussions.
Self-directed learning: Further study and assessment activities are done by participants in their own time.
Assessment: The methods in which students are assessed may include written questions, projects and observations.

This course does not have government funding channels for ARC Training so it is a Fee for Service course.

There are ten (10) units of competency to complete, comprising of four (4) core units and six (6) elective units of competency. Please see the next page for further information.
