CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

This qualification addresses work in the community and residential who follow and individualised plan to provide person-centred support.

  • carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged care setting
  • carry out activities related to an individualised plan

This program is a classroom based program conducted over a 3 month period, with attendance 2 day per week and self-directed learning to complete learning and assessment activities or as a traineeship over a 12 month period.

This qualification focuses on how to follow an individualised plan and provide person-centered support to carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of daily living for people in a disability care setting. This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities and students have up to 12 months to complete the course.

CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Home and Community)

This qualification focuses on how to follow an individualised plan and provide person-centered support to carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of daily living for people in a home and community care setting. This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities and students have up to 12 months to complete the course.

CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the aged care sector operating in residential settings, clients’ homes and community based environments. Workers will take responsibility to provide services to people with complex care needs, assist in program development and deliver individualised care. This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities and students have up to 12 months to complete the course.

CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the disability sector in a range of community settings and clients’ homes. To encourage people with varying disabilities to be independent, participate in the community, support relationships and provide individualised care. This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities and students have up to 12 months to complete the course.

CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs to improve the daily lives of people with varying care needs in residential facilities, community services and day centres, including working with people supported by the NDIS. This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities and students have up to 12 months to complete the course.
